Testimonial Neo3nos

Writer's picture: Neo3nos Neo3nos

,,the game happened to take place when i was (and still am) going through an impactful grieving process; a very close friend my age passed away on feb 14… as well as a very intense battlefield in my own home and within my own family. personally, the way i see it.

Neo3nos brings together different knowledges and ancient practices, and it makes for a great modern tool that connects the physical realm to the spiritual realm; not in the mystical sense — my upbringing had me develop into a cold-logic young adult — but in the sense that we are most definitely responsible for our attitudes in this world (towards strangers, friends, family, romantic relationships, etc);

I feel like this game was literally designed to “lift the veil”, as in making people be less ignorant and indifferent to others and to nature, for the lack of empathy in our society is alarming.. we must all find ways to stay healthy and emotionally sane in this mental asylum of a world I don’t say this in the hopeless way, not at all!

But in the way that each day I am motivated to contribute to a healthier world, to leave it better than i found it, I have this dream!) and I am very confident that Neo3nos is a board-game that is an amazing start for people to be able to question their prejudices, to open their minds, to tell hard truths to one another, to evaluate the things that first come to their mind versus how they orchestrate more or less their answers in order to be agreeable — the latter being sadly a big step back for humanity as the civic spirit and joviality are often mistaken for the “fit-in” mentality, and people don’t use their whole arsenal of emotions to express themselves, as some “emotions” are bashed by cultural conditioning, which really makes people very polarized and to act shady and weird af.

Another facet of the game I’d say is the opportunity to practice paying attention to all these differentiations and details, which is a great preparatory exercise for dealing with life in general. the way I see it, the purpose of the game is to open your mind while also laughing and making jokes in a space that feels safe to express yourself — a luxury that many of us don’t really have in our day to day lives without being mocked, judged, trivialized, ridiculed, etc etc. can’t wait for the next one!,,
